Makati, Metro Manila, the business capital city of Philippine. I was there for a business trip from my company for one month. It was a nice city, almost the same as jakarta. Especially the crowds and the traffic jam. The nice thing about Philippine is that most of their people can speak english very well, so I don't have any problems in commmunicating with most people there. Even though they always thought that i am a philippino and speak to me in tagalog, their native language. Surprisingly some of the word in tagalog are similar to Indonesia, and their pronounciation is exactyl the same like bahasa Indonesia. If you hear it from far, it was like hearing Bahasa Indonesia. Their food is not so great though, they like barbecue alot, and most of the food are very salty and sour. One time i eat a green bean (kacang ijo), which we normally eat for desert, but they mixed it with meat and eat it with rice. One specific food that you would be surprise of is called balot, its a half steam egg. However it is not a normal egg, its a chicken/duck which inside its already forming a chicken/egg embryo, so when you eat and chew you will hear crunching bones....crunchy.
