The new Generation of Operating system is finally here, its the Mac OS X 10.4, code name Tiger. Its the 4th generation of highly advance Operating system OS X(red:ten). I personally have enjoyed using the Mac OS 10.2in my 12 inch aluminum Powerbook, when i got my first mac. I really love the simplicity of this OS. Just like when the first time i came to Singapore, my first impression is that this city is very clean, i can't find any plastic bag or any garbage lying on the street. So did the OS X, its so clean. Its because when you first get to know it, u knew exactly what every file does for your computer. Because in Mac, one program means one file. So you dont end up asking your self, what the heck is this file do in my computer, and when you delete it...BANG!!!..one program die, can't be open.
The other thing i love is the animated bar, and the icon that jumps when you clicked. And also the genie effect of minimizing the window.
The next generation (OS 10.3), have the best feature of Expose. This allows you to view every window that u open in a single click and easily choose the window that you want to work with. It works terrific especially with my small 12 inch screen.
The tiger now roars even more with the new Dashboard and Spotlight, makes that best OS becoming more outstanding. Dashboard works like konfabulator in OS 10.3, with its little program call widget. I feel like having a Palm OS system integrated to my mac. The next best thing is the Spotlight where u can search merely everything, even a small tiny word inside your PDF file, awesome.
I personally haven't try the tiger yet, but i believe its way ahead of other OS. Bravo again to apple.
Just one concern though, when is the next generation Powerbook G5 coming out?hope to see more features. Maybe a 12 inch widescreen with lighted keyboard. Awesome....
