Running with Tiger

Finally, i managed to run with tiger. Well not like what it sound, I didn't run with the real tiger. However now my mac have upgraded to the most advance OS (Operating System) in the world (well maybe its to subjective of me to say so, but that’s my opinion). The latest updated 4th edition Mac OS X (red: ten), code name: Tiger, have so far the most advance and most fun function for all OS. The first thing that you will notice, if you are not a mac user, is the neat and clear layout on your screen. If you are a mac user, maybe you won't really notice the difference with the 3rd edition with the blue background picture and the dock located below with the programs installed. However if you look carefully, you will see that the tiger has a different shade of blue apple on your top left screen, the blue apple in tiger looks more simple blue without any shade. The next thing you will notice and this is my favorite update in this OS, is on your to right hand corner, you will see an icon of magnifying glass. This feature is called Spotlight. Spotlight will allow you to search simply anything in your computer, from documents, data, pictures, music, video, and even the smallest word in your PDF function. Well it sounds normal maybe, but you'll be surprise on how fast tiger can search in your computer. The next best thing is the Dashboard. Dashboard, as you can see on the picture above, is a program that contains little application called widgets. This feature is very useful, simple and fun. You can simply click a button or make a shortcut and all your widgets appear on your screen. Now you don't have to worry if suddenly you need to calculate something (calculator), or write important note (stickies), look at your address book or your iCall diary, and even you can look into the yellow pages, weather report, the stock exchange, or translate from English to Mandarin. Its all simply on a push of a button. Awesome. Beside those applications above, it still has more than 200 new applications, and I haven't really got into it. With the new tiger, now its like having a new mac.
